N...Its gotten much worse than when you were little. Now some legoes even come in boy or girl colors. Bikes, and so many more toys are gender specific. I think one thing driving this is marketing. They figured out that you probably won't pass along a pink bike to your next child who happens to be a boy. He changes its diapers and pretends to feed it and I'll admit I shamefully fight the urge every day to tell him it is a "girl toy." I don't know how I'll feel when my daughter wants Barbies. I played with them. I too had a warped sense of body image. Was it because of Barbies? I don't think so...but they probably didn't help, right?
