And now, 14 years later, they STINK and I've had enough. The option? Death sentence. Can't do it. So I wait.Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08334874120386746124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-326010555125554881.post-71683791316776337572012-08-04T11:00:52.030-07:002012-08-04T11:00:52.030-07:00I think I mentioned our older one to you before......I think I mentioned our older one to you before...who increasing "forgot" where her litter box was. Vet said she had kidney issues....Husband thought she could be trained otherwise. After a year of locking her in the garage and laundry are to contain her slip ups, she just kept getting worse to the point of not even caring if she peed right by the food and water ( I have other cats who would then track her mess through the house). I had her put down 2 weeks ago. I believe it was the right decision for all involved. (Except my Husband who still hasn't forgiven me). She was 13.

Things are so much better....and I'm not dousing the garage in a gallon of bleach every other day.

I understand....Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14435728791853628468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-326010555125554881.post-44168784976733707882012-08-02T23:09:18.233-07:002012-08-02T23:09:18.233-07:00Wow - talk about Cats as the major motif in your l...Wow - talk about Cats as the major motif in your life. How conflicted you sound - and for good reason - their excrement pays your bills AND decorates the bed cover...I feel for you. We looked after a cat for six weeks two years ago and I still have issues! At least they're less work than dogs? Dogs are very emotionally needy.
PS Is your husband still buying you cat ornaments because that is his sense of humour?Miahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08712893439709152213noreply@blogger.com
